The Arts & Sciences Center expands access to hands-on learning for middle and high school students in Orangeburg County. Through science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics, students have room to explore their interests, make things, and build skills.

That work began in September 2021, when a nonprofit executive turned entrepreneur saw a need for STEAM activities that students in this rural community could take part in close to home. She brought together five small business owners and STEM education professionals, and together they founded ASC.
